Ivan Cervantes and Thomas Oldrati E2 podium regulars in Turkey
KTM’s E2 class factory riders, Ivan Cervantes of Spain and Thomas Oldrati helped inject orange energy into the two rounds of the Maxxis World Enduro Championships this weekend in Fethiye, Turkey making the podium on both days to consolidate their second and third positions on the standings table.

Mix-up at a checkpoint spoils Cervantes chances of a double E2 victory in Greece.
KTM Enduro E2 factory rider Ivan Cervantes, well at home on the hard and dry track at Serres in Greece started the weekend with Spanish flair when he topped the podium on Saturday but a mix up at a checkpoint on Sunday cost his a three minute penalty to put a damper on an otherwise good weekend.

First career win for KTM’s E2 factory rider Thomas Oldrati
While last weekend in Poland, the KTM Enduro Factory Racing Team was able to celebrate the first career win by E1’s Eero Remes, this weekend in Slovakia it was the turn of the young Italian, Thomas Oldrati to top the podium in the E2 class.

Johnny Aubert, the freshly crowned E2 World Champion from the KTM Enduro Factory Racing Team was missing from the line-up in the final round at St. Flour, France after being forced to withdraw in the early stages of Saturday’s race because of discomfort from injuries in Serres, Greece.

When Johnny Aubert won the first of two E2 races in Serres Greece on Saturday it was his thirteenth straight victory for the 2009 season and enough to give him and the KTM Enduro Factory Team their first world championship title for 2009.
